Good morning backers,
Yesterday we picked up several new backers; welcome those who have just joined us and thank you for your pledge!

More Bang for the Stretch Goal Buck!

Thanks for your generous pledges, and new backers welcome!
I just posted some enhancements to the stretch goals. I beefed up the low level stretch goals to give my Pistoleer and Hero backers more value for their stretch goal dollars. There is no problem with finding enough stretch goals to take us beyond 17k as there are more figures in development and enhancements the printer can make to the components. But the priority is getting to 15K, and rewarding you for going the extra mile to back at a level where you're eligible for stretch goals!
So with that in mind, here is the new setup:
One thing I learned from our successful 2017 Gunfighter's Ball Kickstarter was to be flexible, and constantly make improvements during the campaign to increase value for your backers. In fact, my entire business philosophy over the years at Knuckleduster Miniatures is to constantly innovate, constantly listen to customers, and not be afraid to make adjustments as we go along. It's worked so far!
Thanks again for joining this campaign to produce a really excellent little game that will help so many people discover gaming the Old West and discover a love of tabletop miniatures.

DIY KIT?

Good morning backers,
We picked up more backers yesterday and we're almost to 11K. Thanks everyone, and new backers welcome aboard!
I'm pricing out a do-it-yourself add-on kit. This would include four 10x10 tiles, and two 4x10 tiles to create unique board configurations. It would also include location spawning tokens (numbered 1-10) that could be placed at the start of the game. The big tiles would have buildings and big terrain features, and the small narrow tiles would be open areas like the street.
Why wasn't this originally in the plan?
The main game board has spawning locations carefully chosen so players don't spawn too close to a piece of very advantageous terrain, next to the objective, or next to each other! Item locations were chosen so that there was an even distribution, taking into consideration not only their distance from one another but also the difficulty of getting to them. But I realized that players with a DIY frame of mind would want to creatively set all those parameters themselves!
We playtested two additional boards, Adobe Town and The Mountain Hideout. They were ultimately cut for the reasons outlined above, and because we felt a low-priced game without them would be better than a $100 game with them.
The artwork for these boards is not in its final form, but the elements are already in our graphic arts library, so we can get there very quickly. I've priced out these kits, and if there is interest, I will start posting the add-ons!
Artwork like the piece above would have substantial mods done to it, as it was a draft item.

Thanks so much for your pledges. I've seen a couple of increased pledges in the past day, which is a good thing!

As a reminder, the stretch goals are available in either figure format, and either format will also be available as add-ons.

Good morning friends and backers,
We have passed the 10k point and have 101 backers; well done everyone who has backed, shared, posted, and liked what we're doing!
We're going to need to steadily add 3-4 backers per day for the rest of the campaign to get where we need to be, so if each of you knows someone who might pledge, please reach out to them and send them this LINK TO THE KS PAGE. This has the potential to double our backer count and start unlocking those stretch goals.
If you have a game store nearby, you might share with them that we have a wholesale deal they can take advantage of by contacting us at [email protected] or contact us through our Facebook Page. We have a lot of experience in wholesale with a retailer network that carries Gunfighter's Ball, our tabletop minis game, so they will find good terms and professional service with us.
I've posted an add-on that I somehow overlooked before, but should have been obvious--extra copies for friends and family. If there is someone in your life who would get a kick out of this game, you can pick up an extra copy at the Kickstarter rate (the price will be higher in regular production next year). This will help us reach our goal and into stretch goal territory!
