Hi everyone,

The trays arrived at the tail end of April and we're now positioned to start shipping them out!

Tomorrow I will post another update with information on a special deal for backers which will also help me support the cost of shipping some of them. I will be offering a substantial discount at Knuckleduster.com for purchases of anything in our catalog (any game, any type of product) and we'll ship the tray with your order. I'll be talking to our fulfillment people this afternoon and we'll hammer out the details so I can send out the discount code to all of you.

The remainder will be mailed out at the same time, with the international kits lagging a bit; we will be asking Caliver Books in the UK to help us with shipments on that side of the pond as we had numerous backer kits sent back by French customs, requiring re-shipment through Caliver.

The trays fit in the box perfectly and they hold the standard punched-out tokens, cards, dice, pens, and figures handily. There is room to add more cards and figures. The clay poker chip upgrades unfortunately will not fit--we didn't even think of that. My apologies.

I am deeply appreciative of your patience during this long slog. The next steps for us will be generating more figures, boards, and cards for the game and to create the kind of community that we have for Gunfighter's Ball, which now boasts over a thousand members.

Hello everyone,

It's been awhile since the last update. The latest news is that the trays are in the US and will be delivered to my unit within a week or two.

I will be posting a large discount deal at Knuckleduster.com for orders placed by backers in conjunction with the delivery of the trays; this will help offset the cost of shipping for us while benefitting those who  would like to order other stuff (or additional GR stuff) from us. I haven't worked out the details yet, but I will send out a secret discount code for interested parties after the trays come in.

Finally, I would like to find out if there is anybody left who doesn't have the remainder of their backer kit merchandise, or if anyone has broken or mis-packed figures to be replaced. There was a batch of brittle plastic early on that was discovered during the rigors of shipping. That's been corrected going forward, but I want to make sure I've replaced any of the figures that snapped. Additionally,  I have been contacted by two or three people whose shipments were simply misplaced when we sorted packing slips. With the trays going out, now is the perfect time to tie up any loose ends for folks, so speak up if there is any way we can help you out.

February Updates

Hello everyone,

I've got a couple of updates for you.

First off, the tray manufacturer has shipped them and they're headed in my direction. I expect to see them sometime in April unless I've very lucky.

Secondly, the base game and the expansion characters have been released for sale and can be found on www.knuckleduster.com. I'm very excited to see the game out in the wild! The bear and map board kit will be released to the general public at the end of the month. Let your friends and relatives know that this game is now available for purchase!

Please let me know if you need any order corrections made. I expect to be shipping trays around mid April.

Fulfillment Continues

Hi everybody,

It's exciting to watch the massive backlog of backer kits finally go out the door! We're down to fewer than two dozen backer kits sitting on benches in the shop. The internationals went out first and are in transit. The next to go out were boxes containing backorders that had modular map boards in them. Today dozens of padded envelopes went out with cards and more are going out tomorrow. There are about a half-dozen larger kits with miscellaneous issues to be addressed before they too are shipped. By the end of the day Monday I expect all of my punch list items to be taken care of. The only thing left will be trays, but they won't show up till sometime this spring, and you will be the first to get those before they are added to the product line.

I have closed the preorder cart and posted a notice on the Kickstarter page. If you have friends and relations who would like to pick up a copy, they will be able to find it on Knuckleduster.com and select retailers February 1st. Finally!

I'll keep issuing updates as I have additional announcements about the game.

I can't begin to express my gratitude for your support. I was amazed at how patiently you bore the many delays and missed deadlines. I hope you enjoy the game as much as I've enjoyed getting to know you through your comments and suggestions!

Before long I'll have a Gunfight Royale Facebook group up and running where players can network and share ideas. The Gunfighter's Ball group has been a lot of fun for players of that game, and I hope to do the same for you guys.

Fulfillment Resumes!

Hello everybody,

Today is the day I was beginning to doubt would ever come; fulfillment has resumed!

The parts came in Saturday and as of a half hour ago all the international kits were done up and ready for shipment. Today is a postal holiday in the US, so the first ones will go out tomorrow. After they go out, the back-ordered cards and map boards will go out to the domestic backers.

Thanks for enduring the long wait so patiently. I know it wasn't easy!

Here are some pics from today at the shop. The modular map boards are gorgeous and they match up to the main gameboard perfectly.

Soon everything except the liner trays will be fulfilled. They've been manufactured but are awaiting shipment to the US.
