A quick note.

I've found that some people who selected the "gunfighter's ball" versions of the figures actually MEANT to get the cartoon figures and were confused by the name.

If you INTENDED to get the standard plastic (or metal) cartoon figures, please double-check your cart on backerkit and make sure that's what you selected. If it says GB or Gufighter's Ball and you intended to get the bog-standard straight-up game, let me know so we can pack what you really intended.

Just to reiterate, the "Gunfighter's Ball" figures are wargaming figures in 28mm with MDF round wooden bases, and will be familiar to people who play the game "Gunfighter's Ball," which is a tabletop skirmish game in the wargaming hobby.

Fulfillment Update

Hello everyone,

It's a good day; backer kits are going out!

My strategy is to get these games into your hands as quicky as I can, even if that means we ship a few things separately. The cards for the expansion characters and the modular map boards are due in at the end of this week or the start of next week. The plastic tray liner will lag the other items by quite a bit and will be definitely be sent out separately.

--Most kits are going via UPS.

--Watch for an email from Backerkit and one from Stamps.com giving you a tracking number. Be sure it is not blocked by your email's spam filter. 

--If you have backordered items, you will still get the tracking number from Stamps but will not get a Backerkit email till the second shipment goes out.

Here's what to expect:

1.  If you didn't get any of the stretch goals or exclusive figure, your kits have either gone out already or are going out today and tomorrow. 

2.  If you're getting only the game and the exclusive figure, your kit is going out with everything except the exclusive figure's two cards (weapon and character cards). They will be sent when they come in (hopefully Friday or Monday).

3.  If you did not order a map board kit but did get stretch goals, yours will be next; by waiting a few days I'm hoping those items show up and everything can be sent together. If they do not show up by the end of the week, I will ship yours with a slip indicating which items will be shipped later.

4.  If you got the map board kit, I'm hoping it will be available the end of this week or the beginning of next.  Ten days ago I was given an estimate of 15 - 16 days airfreight. If my supplies don't show up at that time, I'll ship your kit early next week with a slip showing you what items remain to be shipped.

If there are missing items other than the plastic tray liner, there will be documentation in the box showing what's missing.

If you have any questions along the way,  please let me know and I'll do everything I can to help.

Fulfillment update

Hi everyone,

A quick fulfillment update.

Things went smoothly with the final steps in Backerkit. Where needed, cards were run and addresses updated. 

We're currently inspecting and trimming plastic figures, putting them in games, and sealing them up.  Tomorrow is our big organizational day where we make a huge binder full of backer tickets, going through and figuring out what we can fulfill with what we've got so far.

I am waiting for the expansion boards and cards, which are needed for the stretch goals and the DIY board add-on, but they have been shipped and they are supposed to arrive here within two weeks.

Please let me know if you need any help, and I'll be posting more updates during this process to keep you in the loop.

Guess what? Could it be?

Hello everyone,

I just got shipping confirmation that the long-awaited cards and boards have been shipped and will be here in 15-16 days. We will be inserting figures in boxes Monday.

We will ship the liner trays separately; this was apparently the thing that held it up; turns out they overestimated their capabilities; I'll just leave it at that. I'm getting quotes stateside. The trays are a very, very lightweight item, so I don't mind shipping it later since I'm sure you're all going to want games and minis in your hands just as quick as we have them to send!

I will pop on over to Backerkit and initiate the final stages. You'll be contacted to update your shipping address, and if you haven't made your product choices yet, it will be another chance to do so.

I can't begin to express my gratitude to you all for sticking with us through this. I'm used to having full control of my manufacturing, and it's been quite an experience having to rely on the timelines and capabilities of others!

Figures!

These are being shipped from Utah and we should have them in a matter of days. We'll start loading the game boxes with figures and shrink-wrapping them. 

I got word that the expansion cards and boards are in production now.

It's getting real!

When I get notice that the expansion boards and cards have shipped from the manufacturer, I will close the preorders and run cards.
