Friday is the Big Day!

Hi everybody,

Great news!

The first box has arrived up the road at our manufacturing broker's place. The rest of the boxes will be landing on his doorstep today according to UPS tracking. The first box had customs markings on it (literally red tape), so it had been pulled and inspected; that, along with the winter weather that hit the East Coast a couple of weeks ago, delayed the shipment getting out off the "dock," so to speak.

I will spend the weekend in the shop sorting parts, and we'll resume shipping Monday.

All the best,

Forrest

UPS Tracking (Finally)
over 1 year ago – Fri, Jan 06, 2023 at 04:30:14 AM

Hi Everyone,

The parts we've been waiting for are in the tender care of UPS and rolling across the USA.

Here's the number to cut-and-paste  if you want to watch its progress:

1ZV4Y4100324124170

They were picked up from the import facility yesterday and are in transit. Expected arrival here is next Wednesday. After receiving them we'll have to package the modular map kits (we're adding tokens to them and putting them in boxes) and sorting the cards for those who didn't order everything (some people just get the Antihero card or the Bear's card). Shipping of backer kits should start a week from Monday.

It looks like this Groundhog Day movie is finally having its happy ending. Thank you very much for your patience and good cheer. I'll let you know when the shipments resume.

All the best,

Forrest

Our Shipment is in the US

Hi everyone, and Happy 2023,

A quick update. I received word tonight that the shipment of expansion cards and modular map boards needed to resume fulfillment has FINALLY arrived on the East coast and UPS has generated shipping labels for the cartons. They haven't yet picked them up from the hub, but I assume they will very soon (??). I was a little confused that freight flying from China arrived on the East coast, but I'm not well versed in the mysterious ways of international shipping.

I will post again as soon as we start sending out boxes!

All the best,

Forrest

Holiday Updates
over 1 year ago – Tue, Dec 20, 2022 at 05:53:54 PM

Hello everyone,

The cards and boards are still slated to arrive late this week.  The trays will be finished next week and will be shipped shortly afterward.  We're back to plan A, getting the kits out now and sending the trays later as they will probably come by surface freight.

The first job we take on after Christmas will be sorting cards and preparing the modular board kits. I would conservatively expect the first shipments to go out around the second week of January after those tasks are completed.

I'm thrilled to see people playing the game and enjoying it. Board Game Geek has a Gunfight Royale page and I'm monitoring it so I can answer rule questions. There are a couple on there already, and if you have any, please post them and I'll try to help out!

Thanks for all your kindness in 2022, and best holiday wishes for you and yours!

Forrest

Arrival Date
over 1 year ago – Wed, Dec 14, 2022 at 05:49:24 PM

Hello everyone,

Good news. My manufacturing agent has received tracking information on the outstanding parts. They will be arriving up the road from me in Peoria, Illinois next week on the 21st, one week from today. We will need to sort the cards in order to assign the right mix to the right backer, and we'll need to package the modular map board kits. After those preparations are made international kits will go out, then the backordered parts for domestic kits. Trays will lag by about a month and will go out separately; they are extremely lightweight as you can imagine, so the cost of shipping them separately won't break the bank.

I'm amazed by the patience and good cheer you've shown during this process. I'm sure it must be frustrating; it certainly has been for me! As always, please reach out to me with any questions or comments as these final phases get underway.

Happy Holidays!

Forrest
